Pharma Manufacturer Supports a Growing Network
Launching a Centralized Distribution Hub to Support a Growing Network
From blank slate to fully operational warehouse, enabling scale and supply chain control
A global pharmaceutical manufacturer needed a new central warehouse to support a growing network of factories and clients. Existing distributors provided piecemeal solutions with limited integration, resulting in inefficiencies, waste, and lost opportunities for synergy. SPARQ360 was engaged to plan, build, and launch the new facility from the ground up—delivering full-scale operational readiness.
The Challenge
The company’s distribution network was fragmented. Multiple external distributors handled parts of the logistics chain, which created overlap, redundancies, and a lack of control over inventory, cost, and service. A centralized warehouse was critical to unifying the supply chain and improving service to both production sites and customers.

SPARQ360’s experienced team deploys a boots-on-the-ground approach and mediate operations and customer’s leadership teams allowing us to make unbiased, objective decisions based purely on what is best for our customers. Our team provided hands on guidance to warehouse staff, documented process changes and enabled inter-departmental communication to maximize their 3PL engagement. This was the missing link for this client.
The Strategy
SPARQ360 began with a network study to determine the optimal warehouse location. From there, the team:
- Engaged real estate partners to evaluate site options
- Negotiated lease agreements
- Assumed project management for all warehouse startup activities
The approach balanced long-term scalability with immediate operational requirements—ensuring the warehouse would meet diverse needs across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

The Implementation
Over the course of the two-year project, SPARQ360 led the entire warehouse start-up, including:
- Facility layout and flow planning
- Rack specification and procurement
- IT infrastructure planning and execution
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) configuration and go-live
- Workforce hiring, training, and onboarding
- Inventory consolidation from legacy distributors

The Results
- Centralized distribution hub now supports raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
- Consolidated inventory flows improved efficiency and visibility
- Streamlined operations across factories and customer channels
- Future-ready infrastructure for ongoing scale
The alternative—relying on legacy distributor networks—would have perpetuated inefficiency and cost. Instead, SPARQ360 delivered a well-coordinated, scalable solution, transforming the supply chain into a strategic asset.
