A global leading logistics services provider was looking to launch a global continuous improvement program with two objectives: Increase productivity and create a culture of continuous improvement.
We implemented a global Idea Realization program where we introduced LEAN principles to all staff and empowered them to implement their ideas through Kaizens. The program was embedded in the company’s culture program,‘Keeping the Dream alive’.
In a span of 10 years, the program generated over 20,000 ideas, with a value growing from $2m to $ 90m annual savings. The LEAN culture became a competitive edge and resulted in a significantly improved win rate on RFQ’s, and made the company an employer-of-choice in the supply chain industry.
